Acknowledgment of Country
I acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which I live and work. I pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging. I recognise the deep wisdom, strength and knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in caring for mothers, babies and families for generations. As a midwife, I honour the ongoing cultural practices of birth, storytelling and community and strive to provide care with humility, respect and cultural safety.
